Will I Drive On My 1st lesson?
Yes, you’ll definitely get behind the wheel on your very first lesson.
If you’re new to driving, your instructor will drive you to a quiet and safe location that’s ideal for beginners. This ensures your first few lessons are focused on building confidence and setting you up for success.
At the start of your session, your instructor will take a few minutes to check your licence, test your eyesight, and show you how to adjust your seat and head restraint for comfort and safety.
You’ll then be introduced to the main vehicle controls and guided through the move-off and stop procedure. Before you start driving, your instructor will explain everything clearly, ensuring you understand what to do. During your first drive, you’ll receive step-by-step guidance and full support, allowing you to learn at your own pace and progress when you feel ready.
All lessons follow our unique ALS (Accelerated Learning System), designed to help you get the most value and make faster progress. Your early lessons will take place in quiet residential areas, helping you gain confidence in a relaxed environment.

How many lessons a week do you recommend?
We’ve found that taking a 1-hour lesson each week is the most effective approach for most learners. These sessions offer much better value, helping you learn more in each lesson and become test-ready in roughly half the time. You’ll gain a solid block of focused, practical learning with time to absorb and prepare for your next session.
Some students worry they might struggle to concentrate, but we structure lessons into smaller, engaging segments — or “chunks” — covering different topics, similar to how subjects are rotated in school. This keeps your learning experience fresh, varied, and productive.
Taking lessons regularly each week also ensures continuity, helps you retain knowledge, and shortens your overall learning period. We’ll do our best to arrange a consistent weekly slot that you can reserve in advance and keep until you pass your test.
If you’d like to progress even faster, you’re also welcome to book multiple lessons per week, depending on instructor availability.
How many lessons do you think I will need?
Yes, we do offer driving lessons on Saturdays, although Sundays are not available at this time.
Please note that Saturday lessons are very popular and tend to book up quickly, so availability is limited and subject to scheduling.
Do you offer lessons at weekends?
It’s difficult to predict exactly how many lessons you’ll need until you begin your training.
The DVSA recommends an average of around 46 hours of tuition, but many of our students are ready for their test much sooner. It really depends on your individual progress and confidence.
We suggest starting with a block of ten hours — by the end of that, you’ll have a much clearer idea of how many additional lessons you might need to reach test standard.
Do I have to come to you?
We’re happy to pick you up from any location that’s convenient for you — whether it’s your home, college, workplace, or another spot of your choice. We’ll also drop you off wherever you prefer once your lesson is finished.
What is your 1st time pass rate?
We’re extremely proud of our first-time pass rate, and our instructors deserve full credit for their dedication and expertise. While it’s difficult to provide an exact percentage — as tests take place almost daily — our results consistently reflect the high standard of our training.
