I was nervous to begin with as I had bad experiences with other instructors. Mark put me at ease and patiently went through everything with me.
Mark gave very clear instructions on how to complete each manoeuvre and exercise. I would definitely recommend him.
He patiently and calmly taught me how to drive and each lesson we set a goal.

“My Instructor was Mark Sefton.
The most important aspect for me was the pass rate.
The other factor that was the location, I found Mark online and that he was local. It was a lot harder at the start than I originally expected but became a lot easier as weeks went by.
Mark was very helpful but at the same time he gave me the independence I needed when driving.
I would always recommend Mark because is a very good, professional teacher and would help anyone to pass first time!!

“In 2015, I decided to take the plunge to learn how to drive, I was told that a certain national Driving School was the best so I went with them.
Anyway, £1300 later, I was still trying to learn how to drive, to make matters worst the instructor they assigned to me was not very nice, he swore at me everytime.
In the end I decided that driving was not for me because I thought every instructor was the same. 1 years later I was speaking to a work colleague and they recommended Mark, I was a bit apprehensive of another driving instructor but I was reassured that he was very good.
On my first lesson I definitely saw the difference in technique, he was patient and took the time to explain everything. To cut this short, I passed 1st time.”

I had the best driving instructor in Forest Hill. The way my driving instructor Mark teaches you is amazing and he is the most patient instructor. I really felt prepared for my test.
I had already past my theory test so I didn’t have to use the online training.
The teaching methods Mark used are excellent. He is the person you need if you want to have a full driving licence.
I will be definitely recommending the driving school, you will pass your test for sure.

“I think the most important thing is that the instructor has to be professional, reliable and patient. Other than that, I think it’s important for the instructor to have good teaching skills as different people might have different paces of learning. Also, he has to be committed and care about the student progress.
At the beginning, I thought learning to drive was very difficult, especially driving with a manual car. However, from the first lesson Mark made me feel that driving is not as hard as I first thought. He was very encouraging and kept building my confidence. Mark is a very professional instructor. He has great teaching skills, what’s more important is that he remembers my weaknesses and we keep working on it.
